About MLM Comedy

MLM Comedy has been producing stand-up shows in Christchurch since 2024.

The Shows

It started with a monthly open mic at Galaxy Bar. Comics trying new material, first-timers finding their voice, and the occasional touring act dropping in. Those nights were unpredictable - sometimes chaotic, always entertaining.

From there we launched "Late Night Laughs" at Good Times Comedy Club. It's our monthly showcase that runs the last Friday of each month. The format is simple: strong local acts, touring headliners, and a room full of people ready to laugh. It's become one of the most consistent comedy nights in Christchurch.

The Comics

We've brought some of the best comedians in New Zealand to Christchurch. Acts from the Auckland and Wellington circuits who usually skip the South Island on their tours. Sharp one-liner comics, storytellers, observational comedians, and the occasional absolute loose unit who just makes the whole room lose it.

We work with comics at every level - from open micers doing their fifth gig to headliners who've been touring for years. The mix keeps the shows interesting.

Coming Up

We're adding more shows, more venues, and more comics to the calendar. Each show brings something different - different crowds, different energy, different laughs.
